Students is encourage to find a competition or a problem in life you actually want to solve. This has no right or wrong.

Normally any competition would have a specfic site, context and challenges. Each team is enourage to go through a list of ten competitions and choose two or three particular interest to you.

Step 2: Data Set and grasshopper plugin

With relation to the competition or design problem you want to solve, try your very best to find related data set

The data set can be weather, people data, gender, etc…

Grasshopper Plugins (rhino4food) includes

For example if i am interested in https://www.youngarchitectscompetitions.com/ the ability to find moon weather data and information is important.

for simple problem data set like earth weather, there are a lot of data on that already.

Step 3: Finding a standard

If possible find a set of standard that can classify good. For example good sound design, thermal comfort.

The above competition is a easy pick from design problem set, good standard, plugin, etc…
